Política de preservación

We are committed to ensuring the long-term preservation of all published content, safeguarding its accessibility and availability for future generations. We recognize the importance of protecting academic knowledge by implementing robust digital preservation measures.

Preservation Strategies

  • Storage in Multiple Copies:
Articles are stored on multiple servers and secure locations to prevent data loss in the event of technical failures.

  • Digital Preservation Systems:
Our journal uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, an open-source technology that enables partner libraries to create and maintain permanent copies of our content.

  • Standardized Formats:
All articles are published in widely recognized formats, such as PDF/A, ensuring compatibility and long-term preservation.

  • Continuous Updates:
We conduct periodic evaluations to update our preservation strategies based on technological advancements and international best practices.

Guaranteed Accessibility

Our goal is to ensure that articles remain accessible even in the event of interruptions or technological migrations. We implement practices that facilitate interoperability with other systems and digital repositories, ensuring that the journal's content can be easily integrated into libraries and global databases.

Collaboration with Digital Repositories

Our journal collaborates with international digital repositories, such as the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), ensuring that articles are available and protected on various global academic platforms.

Interoperability and Accessibility

We promote interoperability through protocols such as OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting), allowing other platforms and academic libraries to continuously access and preserve our content.

Commitment to Preservation

Digital preservation is an essential part of our editorial mission. We strive to ensure that the knowledge published in Pedagogical Constellations is protected from risks such as technological obsolescence, natural disasters, or system failures.

With these policies, we reaffirm our commitment to the continuity and accessibility of knowledge, contributing to the enrichment of global academic dialogue.
